New Whitstable Town manager Will Graham is getting ready for his first grilling by fans of the Ryman South club.

UEFA A licence holder Graham took the helm at the start of May following the departure of former joint managers Jim and Danny Ward and he is now looking forward to hosting an open forum alongside chairman Gary Johnson at the The Belmont from 7.45pm on Tuesday 26 May.

The Oystermen passed over a number of high profile candidates to hand the 30-year-old his first management role. Pictured alongside Johnson following his appointment, he will also oversee the club's U18s and U21s next season.

A club spokesman said: "Both the chairman and the new football manager will face the fans in the clubhouse. The forum kicks off at 7.45pm with the bar open from 7pm onwards. Its a chance for supporters listen to the club's address and then quiz them as they see fit. It is an open forum so do come along as all are welcome."

The Ward brothers left The Belmont to return to Ramsgate having secured an eighth placed finish on 71 points, the club's highest-ever position and points tally.

The Oystermen confirmed their first pre-season fixture last week, local rivals Herne Bay arriving at The Belmont to contest the Bruce Smith Shield on Saturday 11 July.
