Rooks bring in a striker

Lewes strengthen by signing former Mackerel Men star

Always strengthen from a position of strength seems to be the maxim being adopted by Lewes manager Darren Freeman, as the Rooks boss followed up their fourth League win in a row by signing striker Kieron Pamment from local rivals Burgess Hill Town.

Pamment hasn't really shown the form for the struggling Hillians that he managed for another of the Rooks rivals, Worthing, last season, but Freeman is delighted to have added to his squad, who face Kingstonian this afternoon and could go top of the table if things go their way. To find out just how delighted, visit the club website, here.
