Santa's heading to Hartsdown!

Margate

Ryman Premier leaders Margate are urging their fans to help support the most vulnerable members of their community on Saturday when Santa Claus and his helpers from the Margate Rotary Club will be cheering them on at Hartsdown Park.

To help boost funds for the delivery of festive meals by Rotarians to the old and lonely in the Margate area on Christmas Day, Gate officials say the organisation's sleigh, together with Father Christmas, will be at the ground collecting donations during their top flight clash with Peacehaven & Telscombe.

The money raised is also expected to fund a coach trip for senior citizens around the east Kent countryside in the spring with tea at a village hall. Youth within the local community will also be assisted through a youth opportunities fund, with grants for educational and developmental needs.
