Santer named as new head coach

Former Deal Town and Dover Athletic coach Mick Santer has been appointed as Herne Bay's head coach for the new Ryman South campaign.

The experienced Santer, pictured, has worked in football for many years and most recently coached the second strings at both Deal and Dover before arriving at Winch's Field to strengthen manager Sam Denley's touchline team ahead of the big kick off to the new season on Saturday 8 August.

Denly said: "Mick is a UEFA B licenced coach and brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge. I would like to welcome Mick to the club and I'm looking forward to working with him."
