Season ticket sales set for record high

Season ticket sales for the new Ryman South campaign are hitting a new high according to delighted officials at Folkestone Invicta.

Season tickets are set to start being delivered this week and the club is promising to let fans know how many are sold in the next few days with the figure already expected to exceed last season's total at the Fullicks Stadium.

With the kick-off to the new season on Saturday 9 August less than three weeks away, sales & marketing director Cliff Egan believes they are offer great value after the run of Neil Cugley's runners-up to the Ryman South play-off final last season and 123 goals, the second highest haul in the division after champions Peacehaven & Telscombe.

He said: "We’re well on course to beat last season’s figures both on numbers and the revenue they will have generated. This has been a great response from supporters and the club is very grateful to our fans. Let’s hope we’ll all have a really successful and enjoyable season following Invicta."

Invicta's 'Earlybird' price offer is now closed but the club say there are still worthwhile savings on gate prices to be had by buying a full-rate season ticket at £173 for adults, £103.50 for concessions and £45 for juniors. With 23 home league games, the deal offers a saving of just over £1.50 per match for both adults and concessions on the regular admission prices of £9 and £6 respectively. The juniors’ rate remains at less than £2 per game.
