Seed Growers sign...almost everyone!

Coggeshall bring in six

Coggeshall Town, Playoff Semi-Finalists in their first season at Step Four, look to be favourites to do even better in the forthcoming campaign. Yesterday they announced that they had retained sixteen of last season's squad, and also introduced six new signings- giving them both quality and quantity.

Here's the list of new arrivals:

Luke Wilson left Coggeshall to help steer Heybridge Swifts to a Playoff victory. But now he's back- and you can read more here.

Goalkeeper Ashlee Jones is the next arrival. He has played for a number of Bostik League sides during his career, including Leiston and Staines Town, and played two matches for the Seed Growers last season. Read more here.

Former Harlow Town and AFC Sudbury forward Reece Dobson is next up. He turned out for Needham Market for the majority of last season, and then moved on to Long Melford. Read more here.

Number four is an attacker we know little about, Tom Blackwell, who makes the step up from Coggeshall United. He's highly rated, and we look forward to seeing him in action. More here.

Five is a title-winner. Matt Lock arrives as player/coach after lifting the North Division trophy with Bowers & Pitsea. You'll also remember him as a successful skipper of Maldon & Tiptree. Here's the rest of the news you need.

Finally- and perhaps we're leaving the bext til last- in comes another former Jammer, the highly-rated Matthew Briggs. We expected that if he left Maldon head end up at a higher level, but instead he's decided on another North Division challenge next season. Here's how the Seed Growers announced his capture.
