Maidstone United are celebrating a two year extension to their main sponsorship deal with Britelite Windows.

The Ryman Premier leaders announced on Friday that the company would remain as Maidstone United’s main shirt sponsor for the next two years until the end of the 2016-17 season.

It’s the third time on the bounce that the south east’s leading supplier of triple and double glazed windows, doors and conservatories has backed the Stones, and the association dates back to the early 1980s.

During the current sponsorship, the Maidstone-based company has seen the club return to Kent’s county town, win promotion to the Ryman Premier and enjoy a great run in this season’s FA Cup which included playing twice in live televised matches.

Stones manager Jay Saunders and his side host Enfield at the Gallagher Stadium on Saturday and co-owner Oliver Ash says the club is delighted to extend their current deal which was first signed in 2011.

Ash said: "As we look to build upon the successes of the past two and a half years, it’s great to continue our association with Britelite Windows – a company that not only shares our ambitions to take this club as far as possible on a financially sustainable basis but one that backs it with generous sponsorship."

Britelite chairman John Baxter, who co-founded Britelite in 1970, added: "We are delighted to continue as main sponsors of the Stones. We’ve been proud to be a part of the club over the past few years and particularly the recent FA Cup run which saw the Britelite brand beamed into homes in this country and around the world.

"With a promotion campaign and stadium expansion in the offing we are looking forward to what the future hold for the club and its supporters."
