Stalemate after Neil's award

By Peter Butcher

FOLKESTONE boss Neil Cugley was presented with the Ryman South manager of the month award for January before his side's game against Sittingbourne tonight (Wednesday).

He is pictured (left) receiving the trophy from league board member Gary Johnson.

Both sides then had the chance to move into the top five with a victory but the match ended in a goalless stalemate.

Josh Vincent almost won it for Folkestone in the closing stages but his fierce drive from outside the box was just wide of the target.

Sittingbourne stayed in sixth place and Folkestone moved up one place to seventh.

Not so many down IT appears that there is still some uncertainty among supporters about the relegation places at the end of this season.
