Maidstone United are celebrating a new two-year sponsorship deal with Britelite Windows as they prepare for life in the Ryman League's top flight.

The South East’s leading supplier of triple and double glazed windows, doors and conservatories have signed a deal worth more than £80,000 to the Premier Division's Stones over the next two years.

The company, which is based in Parkwood near Maidstone, will continue to be the first team sponsor and its famous brand will appear on all the club's team and replica shirts. Britelite first sponsored the club in the early 1980s and say they have reaped the benefits of being associated with the Stones during the historic homecoming last year.

Thousands of pounds have been invested at the Gallagher Stadium this summer in preparation for the new campaign and as part of their partnership with the club Britelite has also provided two conservatories, one of which will house a new bar and the other a club shop.

Maidstone's new first team kit will be supplied by Europa Sports after the Larkfield-based company signed a new two-year deal in May to be the club's official kit and leisurewear supplier.

Maidstone United Chief Executive Bill Williams and Britelite Vice Chairman Dominic Baxter are both delighted with new deal as the club with the club continuing to target a return to the Football League after another promotion winning season.

Williams, pictured second left alongside Baxter after the deal was signed at the Gallagher Stadium, said: "This is a major partnership for the club and I am delighted it has been extended until 2015.

"It says a lot about how far Maidstone United have come in the past two years that a company of Britelite’s standing was eager to back us again and be part of our ambitious plans to return to bring Conference or League football back to Kent’s county town."

Baxter says Britelite had no hesitation in signing a new deal and added: "It’s been an absolute pleasure to be sponsors for the past two seasons. I think with the success of last year it was a no-brainer to continue with it and we are really looking forward to it.

He added: "We’ve had a lot of feedback; it’s been a very good thing for the company to do and we’ve enjoyed it. I always thought that when the club came home there would be a thousand a week but I was surprised to see a seventeen hundred average and complete capacity for the last few matches – it made for such a great atmosphere."
