Stones set to go at new stadium

By Pitch Hero

MAIDSTONE United's new Gallagher Stadium, with its state-of-the-art synthetic playing surface, is almost ready to go.

Work on the interior fittings continues as Stones prepare to christen their new hopme with a friendly against Brighton & Hove Albion a week tomorrow (Saturday July 14).

All 2,000 tickets for the game had been sold out but capacity was increased after an inspection and another 226 fans will now get the chance to attend. None will be on general sale, however: a waiting list had already been established.
