Witham Town manager Garry Kimble is hoping striker Usama Hamden will add a new dimension to his side's attacking play in Ryman North.

Hamden, better known as Oz, signed from Grays Athletic on Thursday where he was highly rated for his work ethic and attitude. The forward joined the Gravelmen in the summer after impressing last season at Ilford.

Kimble, who thanked Athletic manager Ryan Kirby for helping the move go through, said: "Oz gives us another option through the middle and having done our homework we know he is of the character we want at the club. He is hungry to play and is an honest lad. A big reason why we have started well is because we have defended from the front and we need to continue to do that."

Hamden has time to settle in settle in at Spa Road as Kimble's side take a break from action this weekend. The striker could make his debut on Saturday week when Town are away in their next Ryman North outing at Waltham Abbey.
