And the Kent club's champions, who booked their berth at the tournament with a resounding 14-5 win over Buckinghamshire's MK Mad Walkers in the South East regional finals, could go one better in a few weeks time after earning a place in the British Finals in Hartlepool with their latest victory. Taking place on Sunday 13 November at The Sports Dome, the English champions are set to meet Montrose from Scotland, Methyr Tydfill from Wales and a yet to be decided Irish side.
Fans and players at Winch's Field have been hailing the champions on social media since's Sunday's triumph. Bay full-back Michael Turner tweeted: "I tell you what these old boys have still got it."
