Stuart back in the game after four days away

Former Grays boss wastes no time getting involved once more- but as a player

On Monday we announced that Grays Athletic and their manager Jamie Stuart had parted company- and tonight it has been confirmed that the former Millwall, Charlton Athletic and Southend United defender is back in the game once more. But this time he won't be in the dugout, he'll be on the pitch.

At 42 years old his appearances have been fleeting of late. Whilst remaining player/manager he started only three matches for Athletic last season, and this season he hasn't featured at all- but Greenwich Borough have just announced that he has signed on at the DRS Stadium and will feature in the squad to take on East Grinstead Town tomorrow.

Borough are deep in relegation trouble, but do have four points from their last six. They will hope that Stuart's experience will help them as they fight to stay up.
