Swifts raid the Jammers

Heybridge sign midfielder from their closest rivals

Three miles, two points and one place in the table are all that separate Maldon & Tiptree from Heybridge Swifts, and now the sides have something else in common- midfielder Chris Millar will have played for both of them this season.

Millar has turned out eighteen times for the Jammers this season, including as a substitute in Maldon's 3-2 win over Swifts on August Bank Holiday Monday, but the midfielder, who started 27 times last season, has decided to move to Scraley Road. He will go straight into manager Julian Dicks' squad to face Tilbury tomorrow.
