Taking a Bostik Bow: More supporters required!

By Ian Townsend

Have we covered your club? If not, step up!

Many of you have enjoyed our 'Taking a Bostik bow' series over the last couple of weeks- and thank you for telling us so- but some clubs have so far gone unrepresented. We don't believe that nobody loves them, so if your club is on the list below, get in touch and tell us all about why they are wonderful!

Our original article asking for supporter involvement is below, and the clubs who we have already featured have been crossed out. We look forward to hearing from you.

Twenty three clubs will kick off the Bostik League season in August who weren't present for the last campaign. Some of them are no strangers to our ranks, but a number of them have either not been here before or perhaps haven't been here for quite a while. We'd like to introduce each of them- through the eyes of one of their most committed supporters. Could that be you?

If you are a supporter of one of the following clubs and would like to be involved, then please email Ian on townsendaround@gmail.com and volunteer your services. Each volunteer will be asked a similar set of questions- either via email or over the phone, whichever you'd prefer- and we'll publish the features between now and the middle of July, as part of our preview of the forthcoming season.

So that you've a good understanding of what will be required of you, we'll be asking about your personal attachment to your club, what brought you there, and what makes the experience special. We'll also be asking practical questions about getting to your ground, parking, and the quality of the beer and burgers! And perhaps a few other things too, but nothing too taxing!
