Terrors offer to host Hamlet

Historic rivalries put aside as Tooting offer help to Dulwich

Traditional South London rivals they may be, but Tooting & Mitcham United have proved conclusively that the rivalry is entirely friendly with an offer to host Dulwich Hamlet until the end of the season.

Steve Adkins, the Chair of the Imperial Fields based club, has announced that if Hamlet are unable to resolve their differences with landlords Meadow- as extensively reported here earlier this week- they are happy to throw open their doors and invite the pink and blue hordes to stay awhile.

Steve stated:

'We are pleased to be able to help a fellow club within the Isthmian League. This is subject to the League giving their consent.

We do very much hope that Dulwich will be able to resolve their issues speedily and we wish the Club all the very best in their endeavours.'

Hamlet travel to Brightlingsea Regent tomorrow, whilst United host Dorking Wanderers.
