The Terminator makes a Swifts entry

West Ham legend heads to Heybridge

Heybridge Swifts have announced that their new manager is none other than West Ham United legend Julian ‘Terminator’ Dicks.

Dicks does have some experience of the Isthmian League, as he managed Grays Athletic for two years, the second of these being in the North Division. More recently he was the coach at West Ham United, serving under then-manager Slaven Bilic.

Swifts have chosen their man from around thirty applicants following the departure of Jody Brown last week. For more on that decision, visit the club website here.

In unrelated Swifts news, it has been confirmed that winger Sam Bantick and midfielder Ahmed Abdulla have left the club.
