Top scorers bring in another striker!

Hayes and Yeading strengthen in the last area you'd expect them to need reinforcements

When you've scored almost four goals a game the last thing you'd need is another striker, yes? Well, if you're Hayes and Yeading United, no! Joining the squad at the Skyex Stadium this morning is Elliot Benyon, who signs from Premier Division Leatherhead.

Benyon will be no stranger to the Hayes faithful, having scored prolifically for them during an earlier spell. The much travelled striker, who played professionally for Torquay United, Southend United and Crawley Town amongst others, signed for the Tanners in the summer and made eighteen appearances, scoring two goals- but has now decided to rejoin a club for whom he won the player of the year award in 2015-16, before moving to National League side Wealdstone.
