Town lose their management team

Sarnies look for their third boss of the season

Egham Town have announced that Ashley Smith has resigned as manager, following defeat to Bedfont Sports at the weekend. The rest of his management team have apparently departed too.

Smith, who took over at the Runnymede Stadium in September following the departure of Simon Lane, has managed to pick up only five points from thirty six despite some positive cup results, and leaves with the club in nineteenth place in the South Central Division, and with the worst goal difference of any club in the Bostik League.

You can read the club statement on the matter at their website, here.
