Ryman League North Division

There's never been much doubt over VCD Athletic's Ryman North title credentials and they hammered home the point on Tuesday night with an 8-0 mauling of Wroxham at Oak Road.

The Vickers - 16 points clear of the chasing pack - did their goals for column no harm either with the biggest win of the season.

Stuart Zanone led the way, opening the scoring on 20 minutes before completing his hat-trick with a second on 33 minutes, after Karl Dent had found the net on the half hour mark, and from the spot 11 minutes from full time.

Peter Smith on 48 minutes, Baff Addae seven minutes later, Nick Reeves on 72 and Enock Adjei in the last five racked up the other Vickers goals.

In Tuesday's only other game, Dereham Town moved into the top half with a comprehensive 3-0 home win over Chatham who are still fourth from bottom.

Ryan Hawkins bagged the only goal of the first half on 17 minutes before a brace from Shaun Bammant. He scored five minutes into the second half and with 17 minutes to go to lift Dereham to 11th spot in the table.
