Monday's Ryman Premier action review

Hendon moved to within two points of second-placed Margate in the Ryman Premier on Monday night but had to be content with a point from a 1-1 draw against mid-table Billericay Town at Earlsmead, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

However, the Greens were probably happy to settle for one point as they were forced to play for an hour with ten-men following the dismissal of Elliott Braithwaite.

The visitors took the lead as early as the third minute through Harry Baker but it took the Greens just 15 minutes to level matters when a Lee O'Leary effort that looked like it was going wide was diverted into the net by Ryan Scott.

Hendon were reduced to ten men in the 31st minute when Brathwaite was dismissed for a reckless challenge on Afolabi Obafemi. The visitors were also down to ten for the final 20 minutes after recent loan signing Dylan Casey was shown a second yellow card.
