Tuesday's Ryman Premier action review

Ryman League Premier Division

Enfield Town produced a terrific performance to beat Ryman Premier leaders Margate at the Queen Elizabeth II Stadium on Tuesday night, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

Nathan Livings gave Town a 15th minute lead after a wickedly swerving corner – six minutes after Nathan McDonald had saved a penalty. Then a Margate comeback saw them level early in the second half through Ryan Moss.

But Ryan Doyle gave Town back the lead with a twice taken penalty on 65 minutes before Liam Hope struck five minutes from time. His goal effectively sealed the win, but also earned him a personal record. It was his 107th for the club and earned him the club goal-scoring record.

A solid and hardworking display from Leiston ensured new boss Richard Wilkins got his reign off to a winning start against Grays Athletic at Victory Road to take the Suffolk outfit into fifth spot.

Two goals from Gareth Heath in the 37th minute – from the spot – and on the hour-mark after Craig Parker had given the injury hit home side a 25th minute lead - earned the home side their comfortable win.
