Tuesday's Ryman Premier action review

Ryman League Premier Division

Dulwich Hamlet missed the opportunity to move into fourth place in the Ryman Premier on Tuesday night when they were pegged back to 2-2 by lower mid-table hosts East Thurrock United, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

Hamlet started well and their pressure told when they took the lead after 25 minutes, Omar Koroma crossing from the right and Nyren Clunis bundling the ball over the line. But Hamlet were penalised for a handball in the box five minutes after the restart and Sam Higgins emphatically converted from the spot.

The introduction of Harry Ottaway around the hour-mark then turned the game back in the Hamlet's favour and he struck from the edge of the box soon after coming on to put his side back in front.

Despite Dulwich taking control and Ottaway rattling the bar with another effort in the final ten minutes, East Thurrock grabbed an equaliser with three minutes remaining when Paul Goodacre scored with a far post header from a corner.
