By David Watters

Corinthian-Casuals moved to within four points of fifth-placed Guernsey FC in the Ryman South table after winning 1-0 against the Channel Islanders at King George`s Field on Tuesday night, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

Emmanuel Akokhia scored the all-important goal after 12 minutes.

The other game of the night saw fourth-bottom Walton & Hersham suffer a 2-0 Stompond Lane defeat to a now seventeenth-placed Sittingbourne side.

The visitors were already a goal up through Ita Stevan`s 20th minute effort when the Swans had forward Michael Salako sent-off seven minutes before half-time. Jack Stevenson made sure of the points for the Kent side on 78 minutes.
