Turnstile tariffs slashed for promotion push

Supporters can see the Metropolitan Police take on Margate on Tuesday night in a must win game for both sides for just £1.

Met officials announced on Monday that they were slashing admission prices at Imber Court for the Margate fixture and their next home game, East Thurrock United on Saturday.

Met spokesman Graham Mettone said: "We know it is the school holidays and hopefully this will encourage more fans to come and watch an evening game under the floodlights at Imber Court.

"Margate are currently third in the league and still pushing for promotion via the play-offs and we are 11th but only four points separate us from a possible play-off spot so this is a crucial game for both sides."
