Margate manager Terry Brown has been reunited with striker Jamie Taylor in the Ryman Premier after signing him from Conference South Sutton United on Friday.
The 31-year-old, pictured, shot to fame after bagging 105 goals in 135 games for Horsham before going on to enjoy spells at Grays Athletic, Dagenham & Redbridge and AFC Wimbledon.
The prolific forward joined Sutton United last season from Conference Premier Side Lincoln City where he had been their top scorer.
Taylor has switched on a deal that runs until the end of the 2015-16 campaign and is set to go straight into Brown's squad for Saturday's top flight clash with Canvey Island at Hartsdown Park.
Brown said: "Stuart and I worked with Jamie at Aldershot and he showed a lot of potential and he has gone on to prove that with a great track record at Non-League level.
"Jamie will bring different strengths to what we already have. He is a sharp striker who will take chances and I would expect him to get us at least 20 goals this season."
