United lose half of their management team

Basildon appointed joint managers. A month later, and then there was one.

It's less than a month since we announced that Basildon United had appointed joint managers- but then there was one, as half of the duo has departed already.

Michael Walther arrived at the club from Barkingside as one of two replacements for Marc Harrison, but his time at the Ho Ho stadium has sadly been no laughing matter. Whilst the Bees are still riding high in the North Division table, sitting in seventh place, they haven't experienced victory since 29th September.

The other manager, Lee Connor- who stepped from the boardroom to the dugout to work in tandem with Walther- will remain as manager until a new management team is appointed, before swapping a tracksuit for a suit once more and heading back upstairs.
