Urchins to drop their A

AFC Hornchurch have revealed that they have applied to the FA for permission to change their name. If all goes well, they will go from being AFC Hornchurch to Hornchurch FC in time for the 2019/20 season.

As part of this application process the FA have launched a consultation amongst the Urchins faithful, and supporters should visit the club website here for details of how to get involved.

We suspect that dropping the A won't be a big problem for locals- after all, they've been dropping their H for years, as anyone who has ever been to 'Ornchurchfest can testify!
