Cray Wanderers today announced a partnership with internet-sensations SE Dons.
The Sunday League side, who have one hundred and fifteen thousand followers on YouTube and who won two cup competitions last season, needed a home base for the forthcoming campaign. Wanderers, of course, haven't yet constructed their new Flamingo Park Stadium, but they do have ownership of the land and Dons have the sponsorship in place to lay a new grass football pitch, so the two have come together and the result will see a Cray side playing at Flamingo Park as soon as the start of the new season.
Sadly it won't yet be the first team, who will need to wait for the construction of the new stadium to be completed, but the new pitch will be home to the Wands Under 13's and Under 18's sides.
