Warner is a Robin no more

Bracknell part company with their manager

Bracknell Town have parted company with their manager, Geoff Warner.

Warner took over the hotseat at Larges Lane in November, after player/boss Carl Davies decided to only concentrate on playing. He took the club to second place in the Bostik South Central Division, and then to the Playoff Final last Saturday, where they lost to Cheshunt.

The Robins Twitter account states:

“Bracknell Town today confirm it’s decision to part company with Geoff Warner First Team Head Coach with immediate effect.

“The Club has decided to revert back to a more traditional First Team Management structure and will begin the formal search to identify and assess potential candidates for the managerial position.

No time scale has been placed on the process and Bracknell Town FC will make no further statement until a new first team manager is appointed."
