Wednesday's Premier Division action review

Ryman League Premier Division

Kingstonian maintained their unbeaten start to the new Ryman Premier season with a 2-1 win at newly-promoted neighbours Leatherhead on Wednesday night, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

A good crowd of 453 saw the Tanners, who had won one and drawn the two of their opening fixtures, fall behind to a 21st minute Andre McCollin effort. But the hosts were back on level terms within two minutes, courtesy of Vasieleious Karagiannis.

And for the remainder of the game, which was fairly even, a draw looked on the cards – until McCollin kept his cool to net a stoppage time winner from the penalty spot – much to the joy of the large travelling contingent behind the goal.
