Wednesday's Ryman action review

Ryman League North & South Divisions

Tooting & Mitcham United are already proving to be draw specialists after making it three stalemates from their opening four games of the Ryman South season on Wednesday night, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

The Terrors travelled to newly-promoted Peacehaven & Telscombe, who had yet to taste defeat in their new surroundings, and were ahead through Sol Pinnock after 42 minutes.

But it took the Sussex side just two minutes to pull back on level terms through Trevor McCreadie. Jamie Brotherton then gave the hosts the lead just before the hour-mark when he curled a neat effort past the Tooting keeper.

Seconds later Peacehaven were reduced to ten-men when Steve Metcalfe was shown a straight red card for a tackle deemed dangerous. And 11 minutes from time Tooting equalised when Lee Hall netted from close range.

In Ryman North on Wednesday, Waltham Forest broke their duck with a 3-2 win at the Cricklefield Stadium against Wroxham.

Oyetunji Oyewale gave Forest a 16th minute lead that Paul Cook cancelled out almost immediately. But Richard Worrell restored the home side's advantage in the 29th minute, only for Ross Durrant to bring the Yachtsmen back on level terms with 15 minutes remaining. However, Oyewale had the final say, bagging Forest's winner with a couple of minutes to go.
