Wednesday's Ryman Premier review

By David Watters

Ryman League Premier Division

Dulwich Hamlet missed the opportunity to move back into the top three in the Ryman Premier's table on Wednesday night when they slipped to their third consecutive away defeat in the league at Grays Athletic, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

The 1-0 win was secured for the home side with an eighth minute goal from Freddie Ladapo, whose far post header gave keeper Phil Wilson no chance.

Prior to the goal, and for most of the rest of the game, it was the hosts who carried the most threat. Hamlet rarely threatened and came closest to scoring again with three minutes remaining when Dean McDonald missed his chance after a poor first touch with only the keeper to beat.
