Witham Town walkers wander for wonga!

You may recall that around ten days ago we brought you news that James Beardwell and a cast of thousands- well, five- were going to walk from Witham Town to Coggeshall Town to raise money to improve facilities at the Village Glass Stadium. Well they may not have enjoyed the result- the Seed Growers won 2-0- but they certainly enjoyed the walk, which took just under three hours and made the sum of £410.

We thought we'd bring you a few snaps of their efforts- and if you head to James' Twitter page you can enjoy the sight of him being video-bombed (is that a word?) by the one and only Olly Murs after the match.

The two sides meet again, this time in Witham, in an FA Cup Replay on Tuesday evening.
