Woods appoint new manager...

...and he may be called Dash, but they weren't in a hurry!

It is more than six weeks since Northwood began their manager search, after Dean Barker departed the Acretweed Stadium- and last night they announced that they had finally found his replacement- appointing the man who has kept the seat warm since it became vacant, Scott Dash.

Dash had been Barker's assistant, but stayed on after his former boss left, and has since steered the side to three league victories- and one draw- from five matches. That was enough for Chairman Ian Barry to make the decision to hand him the reins on a permanent basis- and you can read more about that by visiting the club website, here.
