The Football Association is calling on youth team players at the Ryman League's clubs to help send a national good luck message to England before they kick off at the FIFA 2015 Women’s World Cup.

After delivering hundreds of good luck messages to England’s men before the FIFA 2014 World Cup in Brazil, the FA’s National Game Youth Council is hoping to present the Three Lionesses with a giant St George’s flag emblazoned with support shortly before they head off to the tournament which kicks off in Canada on June 6.

Players aged five to 24 have until Friday (April 17) to submit short messages either on Twitter by using the hashtag #GLFYP or by using the following link: http://surveys.thefa.com/TakeSurvey.aspx?SurveyID=l4LK3853.

The FA is asking youth team players at leagues down to Step 7 of the Non-League pyramid to take part and says random entries will be selected to receive prizes including tours of Wembley and signed England women’s shirt.

England have yet to lift the trophy which was last won by Japan in Germany in 2011 and won for the first time in 1991 in China by the USA.

The FA National Game Youth Council is made up of talented and passionate young people to provide the next generation with a voice within football.
