Skipper swaps one coastal town for another- but steps up a level

Worthing have announced that captain Kane Wills has left the club for Sussex rivals Eastbourne Borough. Wills, who joined the club from Margate in June 2016, made forty-four appearances as Worthing finished fourteenth in their first season back in the Isthmian top flight, but submitted a transfer request last weekend as interest from The Sports became apparent.

Wills had previously turned out for The Sports in 2010, under then manager Gary Wilson, before spending three and a half seasons with Bognor Regis Town.
