White has named former Worthing fans' favourite Mark Pulling as his assistant-manager and Kevin Townsend, who played for Whitehawk last season, will also be on the management team.
Worthing president Morty Hollis said: "I'm pleased to announce we have acquired the services of Chris White. He has a vast knowledge of local players and management at this level.
"He thinks he can do well here and is pleased to join a big club such as Worthing."
