Worthing sign Olomowewe from Enfield

By Ian Townsend

Former Burnley centre-back is now a Mackerel Man

Worthing announced via social media last night that they had brought in former Burnley and Wealdstone centre back Taofiq Olomowewe.

Olomowewe, who first came to prominence after winning the Nike UK Academy trial in 2015, also had a brief spell at Maldon & Tiptree, and joined Enfield Town on loan for a short time last season before moving to Donkey Lane permanently in the summer. He's been an almost ever-present for the Towners since the start of the campaign, with twenty three starts- including in the 4-1 defeat to the Mackerel Men last month.

He made his debut for the club in last night's Sussex Senior Cup defeat at Eastbourne Town.
