Ryman League

Grays Athletic fans are looking forward to seeing their young stars make history for the Ryman League in the FA Youth Cup against Dartford on Thursday night.

The Blues host the Conference Premier outfit at Aveley's Mill Field as the lowest ranked side to reach the competition's Second Round.

The Ryman Premier club's young cup stars have already won through five rounds to meet Dartford and are bidding to book their place in an away against Chelsea's multi-million pound youth squad in the Third Round.

The Blues have beaten Tilbury, Hoddesdon Town, Bowers & Pitsea, AFC Hornchurch and Uxbridge already and a club spokesman said: "The Young Blues are rewriting the history books and we hope the story doesn't end on Thursday. We hope to see our fantastic supporters at Mill Field to help the side try and set up a 'Battle of the Blues'!"
