Zaki is...backi!

Tanners announce three new arrivals, two of whom will be rather familiar

In an evening of comings and goings at Fetcham Grove, one particular piece of news seems to have captured the imagination of Leatherhead fans- the return of goalkeeper Zaki Oualah. A pivotal member of the side which reached the Second Round of the FA Cup last season, Tanners fans- and indeed the rest of us- were rather surprised when he left the club last season, but now he's back and ready to go as the Tanners host Herne Bay as their cup journey begins anew.

But that wasn't the only good news for those in green. Also returning was midfielder D'sean Theobalds, also a regular last season- and he was joined by defender Tommy Cooney, formerly of Margate, Bognor Regis Town and Hayes & Yeading United, amongst others.

The Fetcham Grove door was revolving, however. Three players also left the club, and fans will want to say a fond farewell to Matt Bozier, who has headed back to parent club Aldershot Town, whilst Ryan Richefond and Matt Drage have been released.

More on all of these moves here.
