A Casuals weekend

Saturday and Sunday sees Casuals play host to the Egri Erbstein tournament, with matches at 12 and 4 on both days

It's a big weekend for Corinthian-Casuals, the last winners of the Egri Erbstein tournament, as they hope to hold onto their prize whilst welcoming the world’s oldest football club Sheffield FC, Somali British Champions League winners Hilltop FC, and tournament co-founders Budapesti Atlétikai Klub.

There will be two matches a day on Saturday and Sunday, and you can purchase tickets for a single day, or both days, by heading here. You can also pay at the gate.

The schedule looks like this:

Saturday 23 July 2022

12pm : Corinthian-Casuals v Hilltop FC
4pm : Budapesti AK v Sheffield FC

Sunday 24 July 2022

12pm : Third-Place Play-Off
4pm : Final (followed by Trophy Presentation ceremony)

You can find our more about the great Erno Egri Erbstein, one of the greatest managers who ever lived and the man who fashioned the Torino side that dominated Italian football in the late 1940's, by watching the video below. Stefano de Bosio, grandson of the great man, will be presenting the trophy.

There will be the usual full colour, award-winning programme available.
