Lancing have announced a double signing of former Hastings United players, as Louis Rogers and Knory Scott make the move to Culver Road.
Louis made his Hastings debut at the end of the 2017-18 campaign, became a rather more regular starter the following season, but his breakthrough campaign was the unfinished 19-20 season, when he was outstanding for United in the Pitching In South East Division, making forty one appearances and keeping sixteen clean sheets as his side conceded only twenty one league goals in their entire campaign. Only Maldon & Tiptree, Halesowen Town and Leek Town across the entirety of Step Four had a better defensive record, and it's a record better than any club in the top three tiers of the Non League game managed- a season which saw him pick up our Golden Gloves Award three times.
Forty eight appearances followed as United won the South East title in 21-22, and he was an ever-present during their fine first Premier campaign last season, making fifty one appearances.
Midfielder Knory, who is a Bermudan international, has also been a big success with United since joining them. He made his first starts for the club during a 20-21 campaign which finished almost as soon as it had started, but established himself in the side during the following season, playing twenty seven times as they took the Pitching In Isthmian South East title. He went on to make thirty nine appearances as United established themselves in the Premier Division last season, and has made four more this season.
Prior to his Hastings days he was with Kidderminster Harriers.
