A Hillians Premier trio

Bobby Price, Alex Malins and Hamish Morrison arrive to bolster the Burgess Hill Town defence

Burgess Hill Town have announced three signings from Pitching In Isthmian Premier, as Bobby Price moves down the A23 from Horsham, whilst Alex Malins and Hamish Morrison travel in a northerly direction from Whitehawk.

Bobby joined the Hornets in the summer of 2022, and made thirty one appearances during his first season at the Camping World Community Stadium, followed by another thirty two last season- when the club reached the Second Round of the FA Cup and the Premier Play Off Semi-Final. His last match for the club saw him lift the Sussex Senior Cup last month.

Bobby previously spent his entire career with Carshalton Athletic, coming through the Academy setup at Colston Avenue. He made thirty two appearances during the 21-22 season, but his total is up at around the three hundred mark, and he won a promotion, reached the last sixteen of the FA Trophy and played in a Play Off Semi Final for the Robins.

Full back Hamish joined the Hawks in the summer of 2022, from Hill's neighbours Haywards Heath Town. He played fifty times as Whitehawk won promotion from the South East Division at the end of 22-23, and another fifty times during their successful return to our top flight last season.

The former Brighton & Hove Albion full back played for Hamilton Academical FC prior to his time at Heath, and was named in the South East Team of the Season at the end of the 21-22 campaign after some fine form at Hanbury Park.

Alex Malins made eleven appearances for the Hawks last season, after making the move from Horsham part way through the campaign.

He made three appearances for the Hornets last season, following twenty during 22-23 and eight during 21-22- after signing from Lewes.

He spent part of that 21-22 campaign with the Hawks on loan, making seventeen appearances and scoring on his debut against Sevenoaks Town.

His time at the Rooks was long and fruitful. He made twenty six appearances during the 2015-16 season, and was a big part of their squad from then onwards, making more than a century of appearances at the Dripping Pan and becoming something of a utility man, playing at centre-half, full-back and in midfield.

He has also spent time at Crawley Town, Bognor Regis Town, Peacehaven & Telscombe and Horsham YMCA.
