A new defensive Lancer

By Ian Townsend

Nic D’Arienzo new at Lancing

Lancing have brought in defender Nic D’Arienzo from Burgess Hill Town, and he made his debut in Saturday's defeat at Three Bridges.

Nic had made twenty five appearances for the Hillians this season, his third with the club. They followed thirteen during 22-23 and twenty six during 21-22. He also spent some time with Haywards Heath Town in the closing stages of 22-23.

He was previously part of the Under 18 squad at Lewes, then progressed to the first team squad during the 2019-20 season, when he played twice. Seven appearances followed during 20-21- what there was of it- and another three at the start of 21-22 before a move to Hill. He also spent some time at Lancing prior to their Isthmian days.
