A new duo for Vale

Tom Richards and Olly Sotoyinbo make the move to Raynes Park Vale

Raynes Park Vale have announced two new arrivals.

Olly Sotoyinbo, who ended last season with a Pitching In Isthmian North Play Off victory with Bowers and Pitsea, has been announced as a new arrival at South Central side Raynes Park Vale.

Olly joined Bowers just before the transfer deadline day deadline, and ended the season by making seven appearances as his side won promotion. He moved to the Len Salmon from Walthamstow, where he scored ten goals in his twenty two matches.

He ended the 22-23 season at Chatham Town, where he made six appearances, scoring once, after moving to Kent from Stowmarket Town, where he had scored eight goals in thirteen.

Ollie started the 22-23 campaign with Brightlingsea Regent, who he played for twelve times with two goals. He started his career in Sussex, where he played for Hastings United, Eastbourne United and Haywards Heath Town, and he has also spent time with Leatherhead and Hullbridge Sports before a first spell at Walthamstow, helping them to the Essex Senior League title.

Prior to his time with Regent he was with Welling Town.

Tom Richards moves from Horsham. Equally at home as a left back or a left winger, Tom joined Horsham in the summer of 2021, and played fifty one times that season. He went on to play thirty eight times during 22-23, and last season made forty two appearances- and scored that famous goal to earn the Hornets an FA Cup replay at Barnsley.

He moved to the Hornets from Kingstonian.

He was previously with Dorking Wanderers, where he was a big part of their Isthmian title winning campaign, playing forty four times and weighing in with ten crucial goals. He joined Wanderers from Leatherhead, where he was a crucial part of the squad which reached the Second Round of the FA Cup in 2017-18 and missed out on the playoffs only on goal difference. Tom previously played for AFC Wimbledon and Aldershot Town after coming through the Academy at Fulham.
