A new keeper for the Brickies

Sittingbourne have announced the signing of former Cray Valley PM goalkeeper Joe Docherty.

Millwall supporter Joe- don't hold that against him, he won't care- came through the Academy setup at Bromley, and came to national prominence when his heroics- including a penalty save- helped his Millers side to victory in the FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round last October, as they defeated National League Maidenhead United. As well as the Millers, he also spent time with Chipstead- and when he is not playing you'll find him coaching youngsters in the fine art of keeping a clean sheet.
