A new manager at Northwood

A new head coach and a Director of Football for Woods- and a couple of familiar names

Northwood last night announced the arrival of new head coach Ben Bukowski, and Director of Football Steve Ringrose.

The Woods, who are having a torrid time in the Pitching In Isthmian South Central Division, have brought in a duo demonstrating both youth and experience. Ben was an important part of Gary McCann's successful coaching team at first Hendon and then more recently Hampton and Richmond Borough, whilst Steve was both manager and Director of Football at Potters Bar Town.

Andy Lomas also returns to the club, in a player/coach capacity.

Chairman Ian Barry told the club website:

“I am pleased to announce our new Management Team who take over with immediate effect.

Yesterday’s performance was a clear reminder of the failings that this season has thrown up and everything here needs to improve immediately. I have the utmost confidence that with the new structure in place, that has been put together thoughtfully and quickly, but also with a clear remit to steer us away from the bottom of the league to safety.

I certainly have a new found positivity after what was, for me, a bitterly disappointing experience up to now this season. As always, everything will be done to turn this great club around and hopefully get us to where we want and deserve to be."
