Andrew Sesay and Mo Kamara sign for Ashford United

We continue our round up of transfer deadline day by heading to Homelands, where Pitching In Isthmian South East promotion-chasers Ashford United announced the arrival of Andrew Sesay and Mo Kamara.

Andrew has been a bit of an Isthmian globetrotter this season. He moves down from Merstham, where he has only been since February and only played four times, after moving to Moatside from Pitching In Isthmian South East leaders Hastings United.

Forward Andrew had only been at United since mid November, making twelve appearances and scoring once.

He moved to the Sussex seaside from Hythe Town, where he had been for about ten minutes, making only two appearances. He moved to the Cannons from Tooting and Mitcham United, where he signed on in the summer and made eleven appearances, scoring four goals- including a hat trick in a seven-three win over Northwood.

He previously played for Whyteleafe, where he made three appearances last season, and five- with three goals- during 2019-20. He also made four appearances for Three Bridges at the end of last season, scoring once, following twenty three appearances and six goals during 2019-20 and nine at the end of the 2018-19 campaign.

Prior to his Leafe and Bridges stints he played for Greenwich Borough and Tonbridge Angels.

Mo is well known to the fans of the Nuts and Bolts, and moves back there from Whitstable Town, where he has only been since mid February.

The defender moved over to the Oysters from Whitehawk, where he had only been since October. He played twenty two times for the Hawks, after starting the season with Margate, playing eight times. Last season he was at Herne Bay, playing six times after joining from United. Whilst with the Nuts and Bolts during 2019-20 he made thirty nine appearances, almost all of them in the number six shirt.

That was his second spell with the Nuts and Bolts, and he'd also played for Herne Bay previously, making seven appearances in 2017-18 a campaign during which he also played for Molesey. He has also turned out for Greenwich Borough.
