A pair of Hornets

Moore and Embery sign on at Horsham

Leon Moore and Jake Embery are the latest signings at Horsham, as revealed in a preview for their Sussex Senior Cup tie earlier this week (which we missed!).

Leon is a former Worthing man who has most recently been on a Rock- much preferable, from a Worthing perspective, from actually being a Rock! The defender has been playing in Gibraltar for Lincoln Red Imps.

Striker Jake started off with Herne Bay, leaving for Maidstone United aged just nineteen, in February 2019- a highly sought after signing after he scored forty nine goals in eighty five appearances at Winch's Field. His two years with the Stones were not only hit by the pandemic but also by injury, dislocating a shoulder and suffering an ankle problem which stopped the Gallagher Stadium faithful ever seeing the best of him. He was invited back for pre-season, but decided instead to head back to the Kent coast to sign for Margate.

He has scored four goals in twelve appearances for Margate this season.
